Better In Motion Series:
Fighting Knee Pain
Better in Motion is a 6-class small-group series designed to help you move with more confidence and less knee discomfort. Each session blends targeted strengthening, mobility, and stability work with simple, practical education on the knee. You won’t just be told what to do you’ll learn the how and why behind knee pain, including relevant anatomy and biomechanics (how the knee, hip, ankle, and core work together). The goal is to give you the building blocks to understand your body, improve movement patterns, and make smarter choices with exercise and everyday activity. This series is ideal for active adults who want a structured plan, clear coaching, and a deeper understanding of what may be contributing to knee pain so you can stay active doing what you love. Better in Motion: Disclaimer (Important) Better in Motion is an educational fitness and movement program and is not medical care. Participation does not establish a physical therapy patient-provider relationship, and the series is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. While the instructor is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, the information provided is for general education and movement guidance. Individual results vary. You are responsible for listening to your body, modifying as needed, and stopping any activity that causes sharp, worsening, or unusual pain. Please consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before participating—especially if you have had recent surgery, significant swelling, instability/giving way, severe arthritis, osteoporosis, cardiovascular conditions, neurologic symptoms, or other concerns. Do not participate and seek medical attention if you experience any red-flag symptoms such as: sudden severe pain after injury, inability to bear weight, significant swelling, knee locking, fever, redness/warmth, numbness/tingling, or calf pain/swelling. Pilates Duet Session
Share your session with a partner or friend for a motivating and cost-effective experience. Each person receives individualized guidance while working side by side through a balanced sequence that builds strength, stability, and control. *Each partner must purchase their own packages. Pilates Triplet Session
A fun and engaging small group class (3 participants max) using Pilates apparatus to improve posture, mobility, and total-body strength. Small class size ensures personal attention while creating an encouraging, social environment Note: Previous experience using the Pilates Reformer is highly recommended. New to the Reformer? Movement Assessment
A Movement Assessment Session is a personalized evaluation designed to give you a clearer understanding of how your body moves. During the session, I will assess key areas including strength, mobility, flexibility, and overall movement quality, while also identifying any aberrant movement patterns that may be contributing to discomfort, limitation, or inefficiency. Following the assessment, you will receive a written report within one week outlining the findings, along with individualized recommendations for correction. This may include guidance on which muscle groups to target, areas to improve mobility or stability, and suggested strategies to help you move more efficiently and confidently. Spring Special: Free Pilates Session
Celebrate spring with a fresh start in your movement routine. New clients are invited to enjoy a complimentary introductory Pilates session using studio equipment.
